The former Transformers star told Amica magazine that she was shocked into giving up her extreme diet when she dropped too much weight.
She said: "For a year and a half, until about four months ago, I followed a strict vegan diet based on raw fruits and vegetables, no bread, sugar and coffee. But I had lost too much weight. Megan Fox Diet Plan
"So now I eat a bit of everything. And I train three times a week doing circuit training with my trainer Harley Pasternak."
Hollywood fitness instructor Pasternak has since revealed that Fox is following his 5-Factor diet, which sees the dieter eat five small meals a day.
He told Starlounge UK: "She follows the 5-Factor diet which is to eat five small meals a day which include the five dietary factors including healthy fats, lean protein, fibre and a non-sugar drink."
Pasternak added: "Megan wants her body to reflect who she is. She looks awesome. She's natural, softly spoken and her personality shines through her fantastic shape.
"Megan's also lucky because her husband Brian Austin Green follows the same workout routine. They share the same enthusiasm for a healthy lifestyle which is fantastic too."

Unlike a lot of the women who read my posts, Megan Fox’s workout and diet plan are far from average. She states that she doesn’t really like to workout because she is lazy and follows a simple way of eating. In fact for Transformer’s 2 director Michael Bay insisted that she gain ten pounds so she eat cake every night for 3 weeks to put some weight on,

Her Diet Plan
Megan follows a strict diet that keeps her calories to a minimum and only eats whole foods, as she avoids processed foods and grains. Many call this style of eating the Megan Fox Workout “Paleo Diet,” which is way of eating like our ancestors. Instead of eating grains she eats fruits and vegetables to get her source of carbohydrates.
For her source of protein she eats nuts, eggs, and lean meats and also uses the eggs and almonds to account for the healthy fats that your body needs daily. She was careful not to eat too much eggs or nuts as they contain large amounts of calories.

Core Workout – Megan did a lot of planks for her core training and this is about the only abs exercise that I even recommend. She also followed planks with 20 minutes of knee ups and ball leg lifts.
Cardio – For cardio Megan did mixture of both interval cardio and low intensity cardio. She would do 20 minutes on the treadmill where 30 seconds to1 minute would be at 6.5mph followed by 1 minute at 3mph. Circuit Training – Circuit training was also a key to keeping Megan Fox looking great for Transformers. Below I outline a sample circuit for you to try at home if you like. Each exercise is done with no rest in between. Once all exercises are done you rest for a minute or two and repeat the circuit 2-3 times. Jumping jacks x 50 (fast as you can go) Push-ups x 12(do them off your knees if you can’t do regular ones) Burpees x 12 reps Squat jumps x 12 reps (explode through the jump) Plank x 30 secs (keep back flat, abs tight, body weight is on forearms and toes only) High knees x 60 secs (as fast as you can go, brining knees up as high as possible) This is one full cycle, rest then repeat.
If they had a choice, a lot of women would love to get the hot, hard body of Hollywood’s own Megan Fox. Believe it or not, getting a body like that is not an impossibility! A Brief Ab Circuit: After warming up with , she would then perform 15-20 minutes on an ab based circuit that included Captain Chair leg ups, V-Ups, and Swiss ball leg raises, performed interval-style – hard effort with minimal rest between exercises. By super-setting exercises in this manner, the heart rate stays up, conditioning is enhanced, and it creates a much more effective workout.
Stationary Bike: By now, her heart was pumping. To take advantage of this, she would perform a half hour of steady state cycling on the stationary bike at a low level of intensity. (Following intervals with low intensity cardio is extremely effective for burning body fat as fuel).
